Don't cut the cord completely

You don't need to suddenly cut the cord and close the business down. Explore how you can reframe what you are doing currently to move you closer towards your goals. There's always a way of keeping things connected.
Level-up what you are doing already
If you are a women who has run a business for more than five years you have beaten the odds already. Businesses are most likely to fail within their first five years. If you want to diversify or move away from what you are doing currently it's time to re-examine your pricing and the time commitment to your existing business. By doing that you buy space and time to explore your next endeavours. You're in the mindset that you want to change so you'll find those pricing conversations easier as it's about giving you freedom.
Evolve
If you do want to shut shop completely or want to pivot -take gentle nudges towards your new ambitions. Rather than pivoting your business completely see your existing business in a new light. Where are the connections between what you already do and what you now want to do. It's all about joining the dots. Use your existing business to create a strong foundation for your next one.
